How fast can we actually get there?

The short version: we can sometimes clean your home the same day you call, more often the next day, and almost always within the week, and we do not charge extra for short notice. We are not a 24-hour service. We do not work overnight and we do not work weekends. Here is how to get the fastest slot we have.

Most companies answer the "how fast" question with adjectives. Here are our actual numbers from the last twelve months:

  • Same day: 61 cleanings. It does happen, but only when a team has a genuine gap that morning.
  • Next day: 374 cleanings.
  • Within two days: 689 cleanings.
  • Within a week: 1,393, about one in every seven cleanings we did.

So a same-day clean is real but uncommon, and it depends far more on luck than on how urgently you need it. Next-day is much more achievable. If your deadline is more than 48 hours out, we can nearly always fit you in.

Our hours, plainly

We work 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with cleanings starting between 8:00am and 3:00pm. We do not run overnight or weekend shifts.

If you have seen local companies advertising 24-hour residential cleaning, it is worth asking what they mean by it. Usually the booking form is open 24 hours, not the cleaners. You can book with us at any hour too, but we would rather tell you upfront when someone will actually arrive.

How to get the earliest possible slot

  1. Call in the morning. Same-day slots come from a cancellation or a job that finished early, and we know about those before noon.
  2. Be flexible on arrival time. "Any time today" gets you in far more often than "11am or nothing."
  3. Tell us the real deadline. If guests land at 6pm or the showing is at 4pm, say so. It changes how we schedule and what we prioritise.
  4. Narrow the scope if you are tight. A focused two-hour clean of the rooms that matter beats a whole-home clean we cannot fit until Thursday.

When short notice usually comes up

  • Last-minute guests. Family arriving a day early is the single most common reason people call us in a hurry.
  • After a party. The cleanup is a known, finite job and a good fit for a short-notice booking.
  • A home showing. When your agent calls with a same-day viewing, the kitchen and bathrooms are what buyers notice.
  • A move-out deadline. These have a hard date, so book as early as you can rather than treating it as an emergency later.
  • You have just had enough. A perfectly good reason, and no explanation needed.

One thing we cannot help with: if you have had water damage, smoke, or a biohazard situation, you need a restoration company rather than a cleaning company. Call one first. We can come afterwards.

Getting ready for a short-notice clean

You do not have to tidy before we arrive. But when time is tight, these make a real difference to how much we get done:

  • Clear the surfaces. A quick sweep of clothes, post and toys gives us straight access to what we are actually cleaning.
  • Settle pets somewhere quiet. Vacuums are stressful, and it keeps everyone safe.
  • Tell us your top two rooms. If it is the guest bath and the kitchen, we will start there and work outwards.
  • Sort out access. A door code or lockbox means we can start on time even if you are stuck at work.

Who you are letting into your home

Short notice should not mean lowering your standards on who turns up.

  • Every cleaner is background-checked before they set foot in a home.
  • We are licensed and insured: WA UBI 603-545-749, L&I 107,230-01, with $2 million in general liability coverage.
  • We use eco-friendly products that are safe around children and pets.
  • Every clean is covered by our Happiness Guarantee. If you are not happy with your cleaning, let us know within 24 hours and we will re-clean the areas that need it at no charge.

Common questions

Can I really get a cleaning today?

Sometimes. It depends entirely on whether a team near you has a gap. Call in the morning and we will tell you honestly within a few minutes, and if today is not possible we will offer you the earliest slot that is.

Do you work evenings or weekends?

No. We work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, with cleanings starting between 8:00am and 3:00pm. We would rather say that plainly than have you waiting on a Saturday morning for someone who is not coming.

Do I need to be home?

No. Plenty of our short-notice cleans happen while the customer is at work. Leave us access instructions and we will lock up when we are done.

Can you focus on just a few rooms?

Yes, and on a tight deadline that is usually the smart choice. Tell us what matters and we will spend the time there.

Is a short-notice clean more expensive?

No. There is no surcharge for same-day or short-notice cleaning. You pay the same price you would have paid booking three weeks out. We do not think a bad week should cost you extra.
