Spend Time Living in KENMORE, WASHINGTON
Start your outdoor adventure in Tracy Owen Station, formerly known as Log Boom Park, and renamed after the late King County Councilmember of the same name. This is a 3.9-acre park with a public dock and over 1200 ft of shoreline to enjoy a nice walk on. You can learn more about the area on the Kenmore History Path, or just have a nice family picnic in the designated areas around the playground.
The Saint Edward State Park offers visitors a labyrinth of hiking trails that go through the forest, along with Lake Washington, and more. During the summer, free concerts are held on the large lawn close to the children’s playground, and the Great Hall inside the park can be rented for private events and special occasions. This is one of the few State Parks in Washington with access to Lake Washington, so that alone makes the trip worth it.
